Béla Gados
Béla Gados was born in Budapest. He graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Budapest in 1984 in the class of Zsuzsa Simon. Between 1984 and 2002 he was a member of Móricz Zsigmond Theatre and then of Bárka Theatre between 2002 and 2014. For some years he had been a freelance actor, but in the season 2015/16 he joined Vígszínház. Besides his theatre roles the audience could see him in several films and TV series.
His most known roles are among others Lvov from Ivanov by Chekhov, he played J. Deforges in The Cactus Flower, Touchstone in As You Like It, Kopjás in The Relatives, Sancho in Man of La Mancha, Montague in Romeo and Juliet, Polonius in Hamlet and the father of Nemecsek in The Paul Street Boys.
He played in several films, such as in the series Small town, but also in The Borgias. He played also in the movie Just Sex or Nothing Else by Kriszta Goda, and he is also known from the Series Low-cost.
In 1994 he got awarded by the Móricz Ring, in 2016 he won the “A kis csillag is csillag” Prize.
